Stauffer & Sons Construction is happy to announce that we will be entering a home in the 2014 Colorado Springs Parade of Homes! Last year we had our first-ever entry in the 2013 Parade of Homes, and it was such a positive experience we’ve decided to enter again this year. Our entry last year was a home we built for a family who lost their original home in the Waldo Canyon fire. The Dieckhaus family decided to stay in their Parkside neighborhood and rebuild, so we built them a much nicer (and larger) home on their land. (You can view more information about that home by clicking here).
This year’s Parade Home is also going to be for a family who lost their home, but in this case it was a home lost in the Black Forest fire. It is a beautiful two-story home just over 4,300 square feet and have some very cool features, including: a covered patio for outdoor dining, geothermal energy, radiant floor heat, and more.
Below is a photo gallery of the completed home. Watch the slideshow, and pause it or skip ahead/move back using the controls on the right.
